SMHC has dedicated crisis services staff who can be accessed for mental health emergencies during business hours. There is also a crisis line that can be utilized after hours. SMHC has the ability to complete a variety of mental health screenings:

• Pre-admission screens for state and private hospitals
• Pre-admission screen for Psychiatric Residential Facilities
• Pre-screen and continued stay screens (PASSR) for Nursing Facilities for Mental Health (NFMH)

SMHC is a participating member of the Region 2 Crisis Center located in Wichita which provides access to crisis stabilization for mental health issues and detox and sobering beds for alcohol issues.
